But however hard she tries to identify with ordinary folk, she can't resist telling how Prince Charles dropped by for tea at Mar-a-Lago. Seemingly nothing escapes Ivana's sharp eye. Her readers are bombarded with rhetorical questions: "You're not surprised are you?" (that Diana couldn't change Charles); "That's quite a blessing, don't you think?" (the two young princes).
